What are wrinkle relaxers?
Botulinum toxin type A injectables relax the small muscles that fold the skin when you frown, squint or raise your brows. With less pull, lines often look softer while the product is active. Movement is reduced, not removed, and etched-in lines are not repaired.
Planning starts from proportion, symmetry and how your smile sits in your face. The first visit uses the dose written for the agreed areas, starting lower when that is appropriate; any change at the two-week review is quoted and agreed before it is placed.
Six brands, six labels
We carry more than one brand. Each product is FDA-approved for specific areas, and each label states that units are not interchangeable with other botulinum toxin products. The brand is chosen by the labeled area, your history and your goal.

Doses are set by each brand's own label. Letybo: 20 units across 5 glabellar sites. Daxxify: 40 units across 5 glabellar sites, on its own scale. Xeomin: up to 64 units total across its three upper-face areas, with at least 3 months between treatments. Your written plan names the brand and the units for each area.
Every label says its dosing units are not the same as, or comparable to, the units of any other botulinum toxin product. A price per unit therefore cannot be compared across brands, and we never convert a dose from one brand to another.

Uses outside a product's label are off-label. Each is discussed and consented to before treatment, none is a promise of results, and bite and smile line are reviewed at consultation.
Which wrinkle relaxer is on-label for my lines?
Choose by the area on each brand's U.S. label, then by your history. Never convert units. For frown lines (glabella) all six brands are approved. For crow's feet and forehead lines, Botox Cosmetic and Xeomin are approved; Dysport, Jeuveau, Letybo and Daxxify are approved for glabellar lines only. Botox Cosmetic is also approved for platysma bands.
If a product is used outside its label, it is called off-label in your written plan before you consent, and the dose is the one written for that brand, not a conversion from another.
When do I need more than Botox?
Wrinkle relaxers reduce the pull of small muscles. They do not lift heavy skin, tighten loose skin on the neck, or fill a crease that stays when your face is at rest. Lines etched at rest may need filler or a collagen stimulator, and loose skin along the jaw or neck may need a surgical opinion.
Neurotoxin along the jawline and platysma bands, sometimes called a Nefertiti lift, is not a facelift, and jaw definition is not guaranteed.

How much does Botox cost in Naples?
Pricing is per unit, with a minimum fee per visit. Your written quote lists the brand, the units for each area, the total and the dates the price is in effect before anything is injected. A dollar total means little without the brand and the unit count: for example, $400 of one brand is not the same dose as $400 of another, and 50 units of one brand is not 50 units of another. The two-week review is part of the plan.

What happens, step by step
- Day 0Treatment
20 to 30 minutes. Small raised bumps settle within about 20 minutes. Stay upright for 4 hours, no rubbing, no heavy exercise today.
- Days 3 to 5First softening
Movement begins to ease. Asymmetry at this stage is normal.
- Day 14Full effect and review
Review visit, part of your plan. Any added units are quoted and agreed before they are placed.
- Months 3 to 4Gradual return
Movement comes back slowly. Timing varies by person, brand, area and dose.
Risks and side effects
Common: small bruise, mild headache for a day or two, tenderness at the site. Uncommon: temporary brow or eyelid heaviness (ptosis), usually resolving within weeks; asymmetry addressed at review. Rare: spread of toxin effect, with symptoms such as swallowing or breathing difficulty, which need immediate medical attention and are stated in every product label.
Full informed consent is reviewed and signed before treatment. Bring a list of current medications; aminoglycoside antibiotics and muscle relaxants can interact.
