Before you arrive
A few things that help.
- Arrive with clean skin and no make-up on the treatment area
- Bring a list of medications and any previous injectable records
- If injections are expected, take advice from your doctor about blood-thinning medicines and supplements for about two weeks beforehand; it lowers the risk of bruising
- Reschedule if you have an active cold sore, infection or dental work within two weeks
